For Care Seekers

1. Getting Started

Creating an Account: Follow our simple registration process by clicking on “Seeking Care?” on the top Menu bar.

Once registered, you can view your newly created Account from the Menu.

2. Already have an Account: Login from the Menu or click HERE.

3. Searching for Caregivers

After you login, you will see a new Menu item called “Find Caregivers”. This will take you to the Caregiver Member Directory where you can view all available Caregivers. There you will have access to the information each Caregiver lists on their Profile page. 

NOTE: As a Care Seeker, only you can see the Caregiver Member Directory and Caregiver Member Profiles. Caregiver Members do not have access to any of your information unless you contact them directly through the Messaging System on the Caregiver’s Profile Page.

Search Filter Options in the Caregiver Member Directory: Use the “More filters” pull-down Menu to narrow your search based on specific topics and criteria related to Senior Caregiving.

Combine Search Filters to further refine your results and find Caregivers who closely match your needs. For instance, you can select multiple Filters such as “Daily Living Assistance,” “Transportation” and  “Languages Spoken” to get a list of Caregivers who fulfill all chosen criteria. This intuitive and user-friendly filtering system helps you quickly identify and connect with Caregivers who can best serve the specific needs and preferences of your loved ones. Remember to click the ‘Apply Filters’ button after making your selections to view the updated list of Caregivers.

Keyword Search: This powerful Search field above the Filter options allows you to search the entire Caregiver Member Directory. Use the Search field to enter specific terms, keywords, names, etc., to find relevant Caregivers.

4. Communicating with Caregivers

Sending a Message: Click on the Profile of the Caregiver you’re interested in and use the “Contact” button to send them a direct message.

Video Uploads: Watch introduction videos uploaded by Caregivers to better understand their expertise and personality.

For Caregivers

1. Getting Started

Creating an Account: If you’re a Caregiver looking to offer your services, start by signing up. Click Caregiver Registration on the top Menu.

Completing Your Profile: Ensure your profile is complete. Add relevant certifications, experiences, and an introduction video to stand out.

2. Visibility and Responses

Making Your Profile Stand Out: Keep your Profile updated, and regularly check your messages. Responding promptly to inquiries can increase your chances of finding a match for your services.

Uploading Videos: Showcase your skills and personality by uploading a short video. Go to your Profile settings and use the “Upload Video” feature.

Safety and Privacy

Keep Personal Information Private: Do not share sensitive personal information in your public profile or initial messages.

Q: I’m a Care Seeker. Is there any fee associated with using the platform?

A: No, Care Seekers, once registered, can use the platform for free. Only Caregivers have a monthly fee associated with their membership.

Q: How do I reset my password?

A: Click on “Forgot Password” at the login page and follow the instructions sent to your email.

Q: Why doesn’t Caregivers4SeniorsConnect facilitate payments between Care Seekers and Caregivers on the platform?

A: At Caregivers4SeniorsConnect, our core mission is to foster genuine, heartfelt connections between Caregivers and Care Seekers. We believe that the intimate and personalized nature of Caregiving is best supported by direct, one-on-one interactions. As such, we’ve designed our platform to allow Caregivers and Care Seekers the autonomy to discuss and agree upon payment terms that suit their individual needs and circumstances. While we do charge Caregivers a subscription fee for using our platform’s services, transactions between Caregivers and Care Seekers are made independently. This approach aligns with our ethos of personal care, trust, and autonomy.

Q: How should I handle payments with my Caregiver?

A: We recommend that both Caregivers and Care Seekers discuss payment terms, methods, and frequency directly and transparently. It’s essential to come to a mutual agreement that feels comfortable for both parties. Always ensure that any financial agreements are clear and documented to prevent any misunderstandings.

Q: What if I encounter issues with payments?

A: While Caregivers4SeniorsConnect does not mediate payment disputes, we encourage open communication and understanding between Caregivers and Care Seekers. If there are any disagreements or misunderstandings, try to discuss them calmly and openly. In case of serious disputes, it might be beneficial to consult with a mediator or legal counsel.
